Hey Friends,
Thanks for being here. My name is Sean McDowell - I teach in the Master of Arts program in Christian Apologetics at Talbot School of Theology (in southern California). I also write books, speak publicly, have a YouTube channel, use social media, and now have a Substack on questions about Christianity and culture. To this end, I spend a lot of time engaging non-Christians, students, and churches. Additionally, my wife and I just celebrated our 25th anniversary and have three kids. I love riding my e-bike to the beach for a workout or a walk with my wife.
This Substack is where I’ll explore questions of faith and Scripture with depth and honesty. Some posts will focus on apologetics and worldview, while others will engage with longstanding objections to Christianity. And some might focus on life lessons I have learned as an apologist for the past 25 years. Ultimately, my hope is to model careful reasoning, intellectual humility, and a faith willing to engage tough questions.
